The Dark Knight Rises Review

Back in 2005, Director Christopher Nolan teamed up with Warner Bros. to show the world his take on the Batman Legacy by releasing Batman Begins which saw the caped crusader taking on Ra's Al Ghul and Scarecrow in a smoke filled Gotham. Then in 2008, He yet again brought Batman to the big screen in the critical success; The Dark Knght in which Batman took on the menacing criminal known only as The Joker aswell as ally turned foe, Two-Face. Now the Amazing Nolan has delivered the conclusion to one of the greatest trilogies of all time with The Dark Knight Rises.

The Dark Knight Rises takes place 8 years after the events of The Dark Knight. A New threat is heading towards Gotham City in the form of masked terrorist Bane who plans on making Gotham Burn. Soon after finding out his intentions; Bruce Wayne must once again don the cowl of the legendary Batman as Gothams last hope but when things go from bad to worse and Gotham is under Nuclear threat, Can Batman save his beloved Gotham with the help of Selina Kyle (Catwoman) or will the legend end for Gothams Dark Knight?

The Dark Knight Rises is truly stunning in all meanings of the word with a beautiful soundtrack from Hans Zimmer who has also composed some music to commemorate the victims of the terrible shootings in the Aurora theatre may those poor souls rest in peace. It also includes an Amazing cast consisting of Christian Bale (Terminator Salvation), Tom Hardy (This Means War), Anne Hathaway (Rio), Michael Caine (The Italian Job), Gary Oldman (Leon), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (50/50), Marion Cotillard (Inception), Morgan Freeman (The Shawshank Redemption), Cillian Murphy (Sunshine), Josh Pence (The Social Network), Liam Neeson (Taken) & Matthew Modine (Full Metal Jacket) to name a few. The film also uses special effects to make the film what it is aswell as many different camera angles and the dark gritty tone of the Batman films but especially the introduction of the Bat and more but one thing is certainly for sure; This is definitley not one to miss and is the best film of 2012 so far...*****

Prometheus Review

After 30 Years, The long wait is over as Sir Ridley Scott has returned to the very genre he helped create, Science Fiction. Also making his return more anticipated, Mr. Scott is returning to one of the greatest franchises ever made, Alien. Prometheus has been in production for a very long time now (Since Alien vs. Predator was in production). So, The question on everybody's mind is; Can Prometheus live up to the fans expectations? I can happily say Yes it can.

Prometheus tells the story of a Spaceship crew that go in search of our creators entitled Engineers (Space Jockeys). They travel to a planet in a different galaxy by following an ancient set of co-ordinates on a star map. When they arrive at LV-223, They discover an ancient temple with a giant shrine, mysterious vases and Space Jockey Corpses however they soon realise their life dreams have become the stuff of nightmares and that if they can't stop the threat, Than Humanity may well indeed come to an end.

Prometheus definitley lives up to the expectations of many alien fans as it includes everything from Androids to Facehuggers to the Very First Xenomorph (Alien) to the Space Jockey and contains High octane Sci-Fi and Action with a few Jumpy parts for people with a nervous disposition. The film also doesn't disappoint when it comes to the cast which is one hell of a line-up including Noomi Rapace  (The Millenium Trilogy), Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class), Guy Pearce (The Hurt Locker), Idris Elba (THOR), Logan Marshall Green (Devil), Charlize Theron (Snow White & The Huntsman), Rafe Spall (Shaun of the Dead), Sean Harris (24 Hour Party People) & A Cameo apearance from Patrick Wilson (Insidious). As previously stated, Prometheus is phenommenal and definitley has plenty of gory scenes aswell as leaving the story open for a possible sequel. Absolutley fantastic and you would be stupid not to see this.*****

Men in Black III Review

In case you didn't know; Men in Black is a Science Fiction / Comedy series about a secret government agency who must keep the secret that aliens exist hidden from the earths humans. The film is based off the Marvel Comic of the same name. The films are directed by Barry Sonnifeld (The Addams Family) and produced by Steven Spielberg (Jaws). When news was confirmed that a third Men in Black film was in production, lots of people were excited and skeptical mainly because of the fact that it has been 10 years since Men in Black II came out. So the question is, Can this film live up to the legacy that has been left behind by the past 2 films? Well, I'm proud to announce that it does indeed continue the Men in Black Legacy.

After a violent alien escapes an intergalactic prison and starts an Alien Invasion. Agent J finds out that his partner, Agent K has been involved in a Time Travel assassination. So in order to save his partner and the world, J time jumps to 1969 where he must team up with a younger version of K and an alien called Griffin to take down both versions of the violent alien known as Boris and stop the end of the world but J also finds out that if he doesn't complete his task beore times up; He will be stuck in 1969 for the rest of his life.

Once again, Men in Black 3 doesn't fail to deliver the fun that many have come to expect from the Men in Black series and the film also holds the current record of the most expensive film ever made. The special effects in the film are fantastic and include a futuristic motorbike and the time jump sequence and the make up for the Aliens from Rick Baker (Norbit) is phenomenal. The film has an all star cast that includes Will Smith (I Am Legend), Tommy Lee Jones (Captain America), Josh Brolin (Jonah Hex), Emma Thompson (Nanny McPhee) and Jermaine Clement (Rio). The film also features a song by Will Smith and Pitbull. All in all, Men in Black 3 definitley proves that this franchise is indeed not dying down and I can personally say that I welcome Men in Black 4 with open arms. Lets just hope that it doesn't take another 10 years.*****

Dark Shadows Review

As many people may know, One of the greatest actor - director team ups within Hollywood is Johnny Depp and Tim Burton and together they have given us some of the greatest movies to grace Hollywood including Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, Sleepy Hollow and Ed Wood. So when it was reported that they would be collaborating again on a new film; Me and many other Burton fans were excited to see what was coming.

Dark Shadows is based off the 1966 gothic soap opera of the same name and it tells the tale of Barnabas Collins, A wealthy young playboy who after being cursed by a Witch is turned into a Vampire and forced to be buried alive for eternity However when he is accidentally dug out 200 years later, Barnabas returns to the family home to realize that his familys buisness and name has also fallen foul to the curse and decides to fight back to prove their name actually means something However when he finds out that the Witch who cursed the Collins family is their rival, Barnabas realizes that the fight for his family's name has just become more personal.

Whatever you may hear from critics, Ignore them and watch it for yourself. Dark Shadows contains a strong amount of gore but between gory and mild Horror scenes there is plenty of the Comic relief moments that fans of Burton have come to expect. As usual the Special effects definitley support the bizarre and wacky ideas of Tim Burtons Imagination and the score by Danny Elfman is fantastic. Of course the film wouldn't be anything without it's fantastic cast that includes Johnny Depp (Sleepy Hollow), Michelle Pfeiffer (Batman Returns), Helena Bonham Carter (Alice in Wonderland 2010), Eva Green (Casino Royale), Jackie Earl Haley (Watchmen), Chloe Mortez (Kick-Ass) and Christopher Lee (The Wicker Man) aswell as a Cameo appearance from Rock Star Alice Cooper. All in all, Everything about this film is very enjoyable and it definitley has that wacky dark tone that most of Burton's films contains and personally it isn't as Camp as all the adverts make it out to be. A Definite must see and look out for Tim Burton's Other two films: Frankenweenie and Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter later this year (Keep an eye out for reviews).****

American Pie: Reunion Review

As everybody probably knows by now, It has been a while since there has been an American Pie film released (The Spin-offs don't count) but finally the old cast return for the fantastic return of one of the greatest comedy franchises of all time and it comes in the form of American Pie Reunion.

Set a few years after American Pie: The Wedding, The entire gang get ready to return for their high school reunion however their lives have changed over the past few years. Jim and Michelle now have a child, Oz is a huge celebrity, Kevin is the perfect example of a housewife, Finch has mysteriously disappeared and Stifler is working for a big company but sure enough; The high-school reunion results in new High-School high jinks as the group starts to learn that although they are getting older, The fun doesn't have to stop.

This film is probably one of the funniest entries in the franchise mainly because the original cast returns. The film's cast includes Jason Biggs (Jay and Silent Bob), Alyson Hannigan (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), Chris Klein (Election), Thomas Ian Nicholas (Halloween Ressurection), Tara Reid (The Big Lebowski), Sean William Scott (Evolution), Mena Suvari (Day of the Dead 2008), Eddie Kaye Thomas (Harold and Kumar) and Eugene Levy (Splash) aswell as cameo appearances from Neil Patrick Harris (The Smurfs) and Rebecca DeMornay (Risky Business). The film also contains the crude humour you'd expect from the American Pie films but it also contains new jokes including a leather sex outfit and an Ice box. All in all, This film is Rude, Full of Bad Language and Scenes which can be disgusting for people who don't expect them within a comedy and That is the very reason that this film definitley deserves to be classed as a true sequel to American Pie 3 and one of the best comedy films in years. Definitley worth your money.*****

The Cabin in The Woods Review

With The Avengers hitting Cinemas in America this week and with the film already out here in Britain. People might just watch this film without watching the other film from the mind of Joss Whedon (Firefly) which takes the common knowledge of a Slasher film and totally spins it out of control. This mini Masterpiece is what is referred to as The Cabin in The Woods. A film that has gathered praise from film critics American and Brittish alike.

The film revolves around 5 Twenty Somethings who are manipulated into spending the weekend at a remote cabin in the middle of the Woods. What they don't know is that a team of people are watching their every move to decide on what they send to kill them. As a Zombie Redneck Torture Family rise, Bodies begin to fall but can the remaining Survivors discover the secrets hidden from them and most importantly why?

The film is a treat in many aspects of the word and features more monsters than you could shake a stick at. Monsters within the film include Werewolfs, Spiders, Rats, Snakes, Bats, Zombies, Ghosts, Clowns and there if you look closely you can even see the twins out of The Shining and a similar box to the Puzzle box from the Hellraiser Franchise aswell as many more monsters (Some from other Horror Films). The Film has a fantastic cast including Kristen Connelly (The Happening), Chris Hemsworth (Avengers Assemble), Fran Kranz (Donnie Darko), Jesse Williams (Brooklyn's Finest), Richard Jenkins (Let Me In), Bradley Whitford (Billy Madison), Amy Acker (Catch me if you can) and a Cameo appearance by the queen of Sci-Fi Sigourney Weaver (Alien). The film also features a song during the credits that really feels right for that movie, The Song is "Last" by Nine Inch Nails. All in all, The Cabin in The Woods is a fun and silly film which is extremely enjoyable. Personally though you like it or you don't. Watch it and decide and comment your thoughts on the film. ****

Avengers Assemble Review

Beginning in 2008, Marvel decided to release a set of films in a run up to an eventual team up movie. Those films were Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, THOR & Captain America: The First Avenger. All Movies were critical success stories and so this can only mean one thing. The Team up movie everybody has been waiting for has finally arrived. Joss Whedon (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) Reunites the cast of these films for the big screen phenomenon known only as The Avengers.

When a military operation goes wrong after the God of Mischief, Loki steals a powerful weapon known only as the Teraract. Nick Fury; Commander of S.H.I.E.L.D. decides to re open a canned military operation known only as The Avengers Initiative in which should the need arise in which the entire world is threatened, These Extroadinary people can fight the battles that ordinary people can't. With the world at stake, He gathers Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Hawkeye and Black Widow to form the Avengers aswell as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Maria Hill and Phil Coulson to help in the fight against Loki's Extraterrestrial army which could very well mean the end of Humanity.

This film is a masterpiece and definitley lives up to expectations as it captures everything including action, Story, Character Development and Lots of Humour. The film also stars an amazing cast consisting of Robert Downey Jr. (Sherlock Holmes), Chris Evans (Fantastic 4), Chris Hemsworth (THOR), Scarlett Johansson (Iron Man 2), Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker), Mark Ruffalo (Zodiac), Samuel L. Jackson (Snakes on a Plane), Clark Gregg (Iron Man), Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) and Tom Hiddleston (THOR) aswell as Cameo appearances by Stellan Skarsgaard (The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo) and Gwyneth Paltrow (Shallow Hal) aswell as Paul Bettany (Priest) as the voice of JARVIS. The film features some of the greatest special effects in a film ever and totally kicks ass. All in all, Avengers Assemble is definitley a must see and you would quite literally be a fool to miss it.*****

THOR Review

It is Hard to think that it has been 5 years since the Run- Up to The Avengers began. Back in 2008, Iron Man started the Hints to a film about The Avengers which has now become known as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The films within this Franchise are Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, THOR and Captain America: The First Avenger and With The Avengers set to come out in a few weeks, I thought it was time to revisit these films.

THOR is based off the Marvel comics character and Norse god of Thunder. The Film follows the Young and Arrogant Warrior and God of Thunder; Thor. When Thor puts the realm of Asgard at risk he is banished by Odin to Earth where he meets and falls for Scientist; Jane Foster. Running into problems along the way such as S.H.I.E.L.D., Betrayal and Possibly the End of the Humans, Frost Giants and Asgardians. Thor must learn what it means to be a true king of Asgard and a true warrior

THOR is one of Marvel's greatest films since Iron Man and has probably the best special effects used in a superhero flick. The cast is equally brilliant which consists of Chris Hemsworth (Star Trek), Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Anthony Hopkins (The Rite), Tom Hiddleston (War Horse), Idris Elba (The Losers) and Clark Gregg (Iron Man) aswell as cameo appearances by Jeremy Renner (Mission Impossible 4) and Samuel L. Jackson (Die Hard 3). Another thing you should look out for is the song during the credits which is really good called "Walk" by The Foo Fighters. All in all, THOR is the perfect superhero film that has the right mix of Action, Witty Humour and Romance and is a must see for all ages.*****

Wrath of the Titans Review

In 2010, Warner Bros. released the greek mythology film, Clash of the Titans which recieved extremely negative reviews (I personally enjoyed it; Review to come soon) by critics. Although the film recieved negative reviews, It made millions at the box office which only left one possible option, The sequel.

The sequel; Wrath of the Titans is set a few years after the events of the first film in which we once again follow Perseus who must travel to the heart of the underworld to destroy Kronos, Protect his son and Save the Gods. However as the war rages on and the gods begin to die, Could this be the end of the world?

The film has amazing special effects from the Lava of the underworld and Pegasus to The Final war and The Labriynth. This film also has a very well known cast including: Sam Worthington (Avatar), Liam Neeson (Taken), RaIph Fiennes (Harry Potter), Bill Nighy (Underworld), Danny Huston (Wolverine) and Rosamund Pike (Doom). The film features some epic scenes and all in all is a good adventure movie however after watching, I don't think anymore should be made and this film is better if you have seen the first film. ***

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Review

After the Success that was Curse of the Black Pearl, Disney released the Second Part of our Pirates Tale with Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

All the cast Regulars Return as the story continues. When a Lord of the Brittish Navy comes to Port Royal, He unfortunatley arrests our Heroes Elizabeth Swan and Will Turner for aiding a Pirate. Under Pressure by the Brittish Navy, Will sets out in search of Jack Sparrow who is not having much luck himself as he is being hunted down by Davy Jones. In order to survive against the beastly pirate, He must take down Other Pirates, The Brittish Navy and Davy Jones' Prize Possession, The Krakken.

The film has a brilliant cast including Johnny Depp (21 Jump Street), Orlando Bloom (The Three Musketeers), Keira Knightley (A Dangerous Method), Bill Nighy (Underworld) & Mackenzie Crook (The Adventures of TinTin). The Action sequences are stunning and the Krakken scene is not to be missed. Once again, Walt Disney and Gore Verbinski deliver a stunning combination of Action, Comedy and Adventure with Elements deemed scary for children. Brilliant film and a Must See. ****

Sorority Row Review

In case you didn't Know, Sorority Row is a Re-Imagining of the 1983 Horror film - The House on Sorority Row which was a cult classic. The one question is: Can a remake live up to the original? Well, I personally like remakes just as much as the originals and you will find out why by the end of the review.

The film follows a group of Sorority Girls who for a laugh pull a prank on a cheating boyfriend. A Prank that goes horribly wrong. When their friend is accidentally killed; The remaining Girls decide to hide the body in an old well along with the murder weapon (A Tire Iron) But when the girls start to recieve mysterious picture texts with a hooded figure holding the murder weapon, They start to panic as one by one, They start to get picked off.

The film isn't very scary but it is a very fun movie. It depends if you have seen it before or you haven't. If you haven't seen this, Then you will probably get a few jumps but it is quite funny as far as dialogue goes. The cast includes a few faces including Carrie Fisher (Star Wars), Jamie Chung (Sucker Punch), Matt Lanter (Disaster Movie), Rumer Willis (Hostage) & Briana Evigan (Step Up 2) to name a few. All in all, The Movie is very fun and definitley worth a watch.***

Aliens Review

This year marks Director Ridley Scott's return to the genre of Science Fiction aswell as his welcomed return to the world of Alien. This Summer marks the release of his secretive Alien Prequel, Prometheus and if that isn't enough alien action for you, This year also marks the long awaited release of the sega game; Aliens: Colonial Marines (Check out my games blog for more info, Available this summer on PS3/X360/PC and late 2012 on Wiiu). So to celebrate, I am watching all Alien films (Including AVP) and will be posting my reviews on here. My reviews start with the James Cameron film in the Franchise, Aliens.

Aliens takes place after the events of Alien in which Ripley has been brought aboard a ship only to realize that she has been in hypersleep for 57 years. Unfortunatley for Ripley, She finds out that the planet she encountered the Alien on all those years ago is now inhabited by a small colony of Humans along with over 150 Aliens. In order to find survivors on LV-426, Ripley must join the military's Colonial Marines unit to try and end the nightmare once and for all.

The film is in many ways different to it's predeccessor for the fact that this title is more Action than Horror and has a really good effect visually considering the year of it's release. The score is fantastic as it creates a very eerie feel as if you were actually in space being hunted by this creature. The Dialogue features some of the funniest lines you would ever imagine in a sci-fi flick aswell as Ripley's famous line " Get away from her you Bitch". The casting of this film is amazing with Sigourney Weaver (Ghostbusters) reprising her role as Ellen Ripley along with a whole new cast including Michael Bhien (The Terminator), Bill Paxton (Twister), Lance Henrikksen (Alien vs. Predator) & Jenette Goldstein (Titanic) to name a few. All in all, This is probably my favourite film of the franchise just because it has the perfect mix of everything however the first one is a close second. Look out for my review of Alien within the next week and look out for reviews for the AVP films, Alien 3 & Alien 4 within the next month.*****

The Adventures of TinTin: The Secret of the Unicorn Review

Since the start of his movie making career, Steven Spielberg has always given his moviegoers a good experience, I mean you can't fault classics like E.T., Jurassic Park, Jaws & Schindler's List to name a few aswell as producing some of the biggest films to grace the big screen like the Back to the Future Trilogy & The Transformers Franchise. When Steven Spielberg announced he was going to do a film based on Herge's very popular comic book TinTin with Peter Jackson, People were exstatic but the one question on everybody's mind was can Spielberg and Jackson do TinTin justice?

Well, I'm pleased to say that they have indeed told the first of many TinTin stories very well. The film follows young intrepid reporter TinTin and his dog Snowy as they set out to solve a mystery connected to a murder case. They find out the murder is related to an old pirate ship called The Unicorn in which an age old secret containing the co-ordinates to the treasure of Sir Francis Haddock leads TinTin, Snowy, Capt. Archebold Haddock & Bumbling detectives Thompson & Thompson on an adventure to die for.

The film is Animated to such a degree that it actually looks like live action. The animation in the film is so complex and in all fairness is the evolution of animation and CGI. Aswell as that, The film has a great story that keeps you gripped at all times and it also has brilliant 3D effects if you are watching on a 3D Television. The film also has a brilliant voice cast including Jamie Bell (Billy Elliott), Andy Serkis (King Kong), Daniel Craig (The Golden Compass), Simon Pegg (Ice Age 3) & Nick Frost (Attack the Block) to name a few. All in all, This is a brilliant animated masterpiece from spielberg and jackson and a great first outing for the young reporter. Definitley worth watching and the sequel which comes out in a few years is definitley one to look out for.*****

Frankenhooker Review

Before I Begin this review, I just have to say, regardless of what the picture at the bottom of this review says, This film is for viewers of age 15 or over. If your wondering what the hell is Frankenhooker, Then you will find out by the end of this review.

When his girlfriend Elizabeth is killed in a freakish Lawnmower accident, Mad Scientist and boyfriend, Jeffery Franken decides he wants to resurrect his dead girlfriend but needs the body parts within two days of a huge thunderstorm (which is needed for the resurrection), So he decides to get the bodyparts from some of New York's finest prostitutes using supercrack to make them explode. Until his girlfriend comes back as Frankenhooker, A girl who wants everybody and money and who will love you.... To Death.

The film is practically one of the old 80's Grindhouse flicks in the fact that it contains Gore, Nudity and Crude Humour. The film features some pretty funny scenes including a supercrack orgy. The film features a few actors not that well known including James Lorinz (Robocop 3), Louise Lasser (Requiem for a Dream), Shirley Stoler (Malcolm X) & Former Penthouse pet Patty Mullen. All in all, A rather decent film that captures the feel of a Grindhouse flick however I strongly reccomend something like Planet Terror or Drive Angry to this. This is still however a very fun movie.***

Happy Feet Two Review

If you can remember a few years back, Mad Max director George Miller released an original family film that brought together some music from recent era's. The film was called Happy Feet, Which told the story of young penguin Mumble who had the gift of Happy Feet (Dance) in a world where Penguins must sing to find their soul mate.

Well thanks to the success of the film, Mumble and friends return for this delightful sequel and this time he has company. After the events of the first film, Mumble has taught the whole of his flock how to dance and even has a son called Erick. When Erick realizes he can't dance and sets out to find what his gift is, Mumble goes after him and his cousins however everything goes wrong when an iceberg traps the flock of penguins without food. In a huge rescue attempt, Mumble, Erick and friends set out to rescue their loved ones before it is too late.

The film retains the same originality and fun of the first film while also bringing in more recent songs that all members of the family should know. The Cast includes old and new members including Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings), Robin Williams (Jumanji), Hugo Weaving (Captain America), P!nk (Get him to the Greek), Brad Pitt (Megamind), Matt Damon (Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarrion) & Hank Azaria (The Smurfs).  The Songs include Rawhide (Blues Brothers), Under Pressure (Queen) & We are the Champions (Queen) to name a few. All in all, Happy Feet Two is just as good as the original and definitley one family film to watch. ****

21 Jump Street Review

Have you ever wondered how Johnny Depp started his career? Have you ever wondered what people were talking about when they mention the old TV Show 21 Jump Street? Well, You are about to find out with this big screen reboot of the 80's TV Series.

Schmidt & Jenko are a bunch of bumbling cops who are not very intelligent and because of their lack of intelligence lose their position in the force. The 2 are then transferred to a reopened police unit called 21 Jump Street in which young looking cops go undercover as high school students to take down a drug supply that is killing students.

The film is humourous in all meanings of the word. The jokes are just constantly rapid and in quick succession with a lot of dirty jokes aswell as some funny sequences caused by the drugs. The Cast is brilliant and includes Jonah Hill (Superbad), Channing Tatum (G.I.Joe), Ice Cube (Boyz N The Hood), Brie Larson (Scott Pilgrim), Dave Franco (Fright Night) & A Cameo appearance from the man himself, Mr. Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean) who reprises his role as Tom Hanson.  This is the funniest film of 2012 and a definite one to watch. *****

The Hunger Games Review

For anyone who doesn't know, The Hunger Games is based off a very popular book series written by Suzanne Collins and shows you what our future could be like in a few years if our government keep on treating the world like their own playground.

The film follows 16 year old, Katniss Everdeen and how her love for her sister, Prim puts her life at risk. When Prim's name is read out for the anual Hunger Games (A Reality TV Show in which 1 boy and 1 girl from each disrict must fight to the death.) Katniss volunteers to protect her sister and gets entered with fellow competitor, Peeta Mallark. When the games begin, Katniss must use all of her skills to survive as alliances form, can she make it out alive...

This film is fantastic and quite literally one of the best films ever made and is easily the best film of 2012 so far... The film features Action sequences hard to beat by any film, Romance between the characters and much much more. Their is a brilliant cast that includes Jennifer Lawrence (X-Men First Class), Josh Hutcherson (Journey to the Center of the Earth), Woody Harrelson (Zombieland), Elizabeth Banks (Spider-Man), Wes Bentley (Ghost Rider) & Donald Sutherland (Animal House). This is easily the best movie of 2012 so far and I hope you enjoy the movie as much as I did. May the odds be ever in your favor. *****

The Muppets Review

It's Time to play the music, It's time to light the lights. That's right the muppets have returned to the big screen after 12 years. In this film you will be able to see your favourite puppets once again with Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzy Bear, Gonzo & Animal. But the question is can the film live up to the Muppet name.

Well I am proud to report that The Muppets have indeed returned with a bang and the film is comical. The film follows 2 brothers, Gary and Walter. Gary is a Human while Walter was born a Muppet. The 2 brothers become big fans of The Muppet show and they grow up watching it together. Anyway, time passes and Gary tells Walter that he plans a vacation to los angeles with his girlfriend and that he plans to bring Walter with him to see The Muppet Studio. There he finds out that an evil Millionaire is going to demolish the muppet studio to drill oil and that if the Muppets want to keep their studio they have to raise $2 Million. In an effort to save the studio, Walter, Gary and his girlfriend Mary decide to get the muppets back together for one last show in the form of a telethon to raise the money to save the studio.

The film has a range of different laughs from Animal in Anger Management to Beaker singing Smells like Teen Spirit in a Barbershop Quartet. This film will make you cry with laughter and feel really happy that once again The Muppets are back in action. Other than the Muppets, This film has a huge list of Cast members like Jason Segel (Bad Teacher), Amy Adams (Enchanted), Jack Black (School of Rock) aswell as Cameo appearances from Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met your Mother), Zach Galifinakas (The Hangover) & Whoopi Goldberg (Ghost). All in all, The Muppets is a fantastic film and a definite one to watch. Full of fun and easily the funniest film of 2012 so far. *****
